Hosni mubarak finally resigns as President of Egypt on Friday and handed the power to the military. A few hours before in his speech in state TV, he said that he did not want to resign. His statement really made people of Egypt angry and increased their protests. The protests exploded almost in all areas in Egypt, especially after Eqyptians prayed friday's pray. the number of peple going on protest increased.
Finally, on Friday, Husni mubarak decided to resign and handed the power to the military. Knowing that Husni Mubarak resigned, Egypt exploded with joys and happiness. Their struggles to make Husni mubarak step down from his postion come true.
The protesters in Cairo, Alexandria and other cities in Egypt burst into pandemonium. They danced, chanted "goodbye, goodbye," and raised their hands in prayer as fireworks and car horns sounded after Vice President Omar Suleiman made the announcement on national TV just after nightfall.
