7.2 Richer scale earthquake struck the Mentawai islands on Monday night, October 25th, 2010. The earthquake occurred around 96 km southwest of South pagai Mentawai, West Sumatera.
The depth of the quake was 13 kilometers and is located at 3.70 south latitude (LS) - 99.78 East Longitude (BT).
For Mentawai islands and West Sumatera, it wasn't the first earthquake for them.
